This show-stopping gown was designed for a fashion show held in a grand ballroom, with the theme centered on women's safety in real estate. The inspiration came from Charlie's Angels, and each design had to incorporate a hidden safety feature. After sketching countless ideas, I opted for a dramatic evening dress. Crafted from a swirling, colorful fabric, the dress features princess seams that shape the bodice, a gathered skirt with added volume from a custom blue crinoline underskirt, and an abstract bow at the back. The front slit reveals a hidden pepper spray holder, a discreet yet powerful reminder of self-defense. This creation was chosen to close the entire show, a moment of great pride and honor.
