Tulip Purse
April 2025
My very first experience into bag-making began with the Tulip Purse, a project for my Sewing Tech for Accessories class. Tasked with creating a one-piece pattern bag, I designed a sleek, tulip-inspired silhouette crafted from faux leather. Gold rivets run elegantly along the sides, securing the structure while adding a touch of shine. A removable gold cross-body chain complements the design perfectly, with the versatility to be swapped for other chains. The piece made a lasting impression, as my professor was so taken with it that he kept it to show the Chair of the Accessories Department. It was later selected for the inaugural Accessories Fashion Show, an honor that made this first creation even more special.
