Also part of my Pattern Development coursework, these AREA Wide-Leg Jeans marked my first experience into pants-making, a departure from my usual focus on dresses. The construction included a structured waistband with belt loops, a J-fly with zipper, back yoke, and a singular functional patch pocket. The precision and clean tailoring made the jeans a perfect pairing for my Schiaparelli recreation. I styled them together for the photoshoot, once again surrounded by cascading gold roses in imagery by arianaleonephotography. This project deepened my understanding of denim construction.
