For my final project in Sewing Tech for Accessories, I set out to merge science and style in the Double-Helix Pouch. Inspired by the DNA structure, I incorporated a subtle twist effect while drawing from the geometric elegance of Art Deco design. Using a delicate peach faux suede, I constructed soft spirals converging into a single focal point, a feat of patterning and precision that pushed my technical limits. The result is a sculptural, tactile accessory finished with my signature flower detail and intricate beadwork, proving that complexity can also be breathtakingly beautiful.
