The Blooming Flower Goddess is a kinetic fashion accessory designed to transform the wearer’s presence. Created as my final for a Kinetic Design class, aligning with my long-term goal of innovating in kinetic fashion, the piece is worn over the shoulders and around waist. A gentle pull of the side strings reveals pleated, watercolor-painted paper that unfurls into a vibrant crown of yellow flowers. The transformation is theatrical, empowering, and luminous, evoking a golden aura around the wearer. Captured in a stunning photoshoot by arianaleonephotography, where I modeled the design myself, this piece embodies my passion for blending fashion, movement, and spectacle, and marks just the beginning of my kinetic fashion journey.
